Privacy policy
BibleTown: Acts of Kindness, in your browser at play.bibletown.app and, soon, for iPhone and iPad. Last updated October 21, 2026.
In short: BibleTown collects nothing. It has no ads, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Everything your children make in the game stays on your device.
What the game collects
Nothing. BibleTown does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any information about you or your children. That includes names, contact details, device identifiers, location, photos, contacts, usage data and crash reports.
The game contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no third-party code that collects data. Its pictures, voices and fonts are all part of the game itself; nothing is fetched from anyone else.
Playing in your browser
At play.bibletown.app, your browser downloads the game's files (its code, pictures, voices and sounds) from our server. After that, the game makes no requests to any other website, and it sets no cookies.
- Progress is saved in your browser's own storage on your device: the name the child picked for their character, how the character looks, which chapter they're on, and their coins, Fruits of the Spirit and items. It is never sent to us.
- Clearing your browser's data for play.bibletown.app removes those saves.
- Like any web host, the service that delivers the game may briefly process your IP address to send the files to you and to protect against abuse. We keep no logs of visits and don't use that information.
The iPhone and iPad app
The App Store version, coming soon, never connects to the internet: the whole game is inside the app. To save progress, the app keeps a small file for each player on the device itself, holding the same things listed above.
- These files are never sent to us or to anyone else.
- You can remove a player in the game (it asks a grown-up first), and deleting the app deletes all of its players.
- If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, Apple's backup may include these files, as it does for other apps. That backup is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Nothing to buy
Acts of Kindness is free. There is nothing to buy inside it, and the game never asks for payment details.
The grown-up question
In the app, the Grown-ups corner, where players are removed and settings are changed, sits behind a grown-up question: a multiplication problem. It stops young children, though an older child who knows their times tables can answer it. The game has no links that leave it.
Children's privacy
BibleTown is made for children, and the app is designed for the App Store's Kids category. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children, under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR or any similar law.
This website
bibletown.app uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites. As with the game, the service that delivers these pages may briefly process your IP address to send them to you and to protect against abuse. We don't use that information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If BibleTown ever needed to collect any information, we would update this policy first and ask for a parent's consent wherever the law requires it.
